NodeMCU clock
I’m experimenting using a NodeMCU microcontroller & OLED display to make a clock. This version connected to WiFi and then asks a Network Time server for the time. It displays the time on the OLED display. I’m programming the NodeMCU…

I’m still enjoying the results using these two little LED lights. I have taped cut down theatre gels over them. I have two and could make good use of a third. The dove was made several years by my sister.…
If anyone else has done this, they’ve been keeping quiet about it, so I thought it would be useful to share it here. I made the top & bottom of the mould separately so all the parts could be printed…

This tea light bowl design was originally intended as something simple to experiment with mould making. I like them and a couple of friends who’ve seen them like them, too. So I made some more and bought some coloured tea…
Here’s a candlestick & a tea light holder cast in plaster of Paris from a 3D printed mould. I designed the sticks & moulds in SketchUP and 3D printed the moulds in PLA+ on my Creality Ender 3.
I designed this candlestick in SketchUP and my 3D printer is printing part of the mould as I type. The candlestick is designed to fit 50mm diameter candles. When all the parts are printed I will cast cast candlesticks in…
